Does the Jewish Community have a Bill Donohue?

Posted by on Thu, Dec 13, 2012 at 11:49 AM

If they don't, well, I speak for a majority of American Catholics when I say that they can have ours.

Now that's how Jews cheap out on the monthly food budget.

Aren't they supposed to start lighting them on the left side?

Do these actors use this in their resume's?

@1 your casual, check that, blatant antisemitism is really pathetic and sad. Just like your life, I am sure.

We've got plenty of them, but they all live in Borough Park and generally decline to speak to the English-language press unless it's to defend the honor of whichever Rebbe or Rebbe's friend got most recently caught shtupping a 15-year-old.

@5 If they're not speaking to the secular press regularly (FAR too regularly), then they're no Bill Donohue.

@4, You don't know the half of it. I've been the middle segment for the past three years, and they still don't consider me a real Jew since I converted late in life.

@6 fair point, although when they do bestir themselves to talk at the goyim (which they most certainly consider non-blackhats like me to be), they usually manage to compress quite a lot of awful into the moment.

@2; From Conan's Perspective, he's doing it right.

@2 No, you light your menorah from the right side first, in the same direction that you read (Hebrew, that is).

@Everyone else: Can we please hold down the antiSemitic comments and stereotypes? It's a bit unseemly. Yes, the Hasidim and Ultra-Orthodox separatists are quaint, amusing, and unworldly, but they're a small and untypical segment of American Jewry.

@1/@7 I'm very sorry to hear that. Maybe if you weren't spewing antisemitic stereotypes, you'd feel more welcome.

Sorry, I'll shut up and let everyone's IQ grow back.

@10: you misspelled "reactionary, abusive and occasionally violent". Ask Nechemya Weberman's victims (or Reb. Nuchem Rosenberg) how fucking "quaint" the Vaad Hatznius is.

@12: I do not advise holding your breath.

@1, 7, etc., e.g. 'Someone tried to exclude me, so I have a get-out-of-racism free card!'

No, you really don't. Besides being racist as fuck, you're also deficient at logic! What an unusual combination.*

p.s. fuck you.

*No, it isn't.

yes.

very unseemly, indeed.

Anti-semitism is not one of the accepted bigotries on Slog.

Xtians, catholics, mormons, white males, heterosexual parents, yet to be born babies and those who care for them, southerners, rural folk; Slog may spew hate against these groups without censure or thought.

please make a note of it.

Our Reptilian overlords are doing quite fine without Bill Donohue's help, thankyouverymuch.

@1 Ha Ha Ha! Next, do a joke that involves a person from China, and when you you imitate them speaking, make all your L's sound like W's.

@2 and 10: I was taught that you put the candles in the menorah from right to left, but when you light them, you light the newest one first -- meaning you light from left to right.

The anti-semitism here is appalling.
