Report Gives an "F" to Senate Coup Leadership Team on Race and Social Justice Issues

Posted by on Tue, Dec 11, 2012 at 6:00 AM

The annual Legislative Report Card on Racial Equity is out, and just in time to apply its findings to the likely state senate leadership team we're going to have, thanks to the recent Republican coup.

Rachel DeCruz, spokesperson for Washington CAN!, which put the report together, points to the letter grades the report provides and notes that alleged Democrat Rodney Tom, prime enabler of the coup, received a C.

Alleged Democrat Tim Sheldon, another enabler of the coup? He received an F.

Overall, De Cruz says, the grade for the entire senate "coalition" team that Tom and Sheldon would install is an F.

"It is a clear power grab by monied interests," she says, "and doesn't represent the needs of our shifting demographics."

Bunch of greedy fuck bags. I didn't like government before, this story adds several more layers to that hate thanks to these 2 opportunistic pricks. Humanity would be better off without them.

Since orientals have the highest house hold income of any racial group in Washington, are we gonna knock them down a few pegs?

Hey, it's like the House in DC. White. Male. Old. Not diverse.

Sad.

An F in social justice? So an "A" in equal justice!

Wait, wouldn't social justice be pass/fail?
