This just in: ROVER'S is closing in April, after 1,000,000 years (since 1987). (I did not enjoy it the last time I went there for brunch, but to be fair, it was a while ago, and they've stopped serving brunch altogether since then.) The Chef in the Hat™ will still be hatting about the place at his other restaurant, Luc. (I haven't been there since it opened. Have you?)

· IL CORVO · Pike Place Market: But never fear—the awesome pasta will return in a bigger Pioneer Square space, where BuiltBurger used to be, in the new year (more photos over here). Also coming soon in Pioneer Square: Matt Dillon's Bar Sajor (plus a bakery/cafe called London Plane) and a butcher shop from Rain Shadow Meats' Russ Flint (who says yes, it will be called Rain Shadow Meats II: Electric Boogaloo, but we're pretty sure he's kidding). YAY.

¡ SHIPWRECK TAVERN ¡ West Seattle: After three short years, the rather awesome dive is now serving down in Davy Jones's locker. The owners say, "The ship is wrecked... We want to thank everyone for all their support and especially to all the wonderful musicians who have graced this bar... We love you all and thanks again."

· OLD TOWN ALEHOUSE · Ballard: Goodbye, Old Town—the space will become a New Ballard–style "Prohibition Era Apothecary Bar" called Percy's, featuring a couple of prodigal mustachioed barkeeps returning from Manhattan's Apotheke, all brought to you by one of the owners of Bimbo's/the Cha Cha/King's Hardware.
