Science Extinct Lizard Named After a Black Man

The mass extinction that killed off the dinosaurs 65 million years ago also did in lots of lizards — including a newly identified creature that's been named Obamadon gracilis in honor of President Barack Obama.=
Obama already has a type of fish (Ethiostoma obama) and lichen (Caloplaca obamae) named after him...

Is your title actually implying that the naming of a newly discovered species in honor of America's president is somehow a form of racism, or am I just jumping to conclusions that you're retarded?

Yes, Charles, you can have a sense of humor, but many here seem reluctant to give you an immediate pass when race is mentioned, so more of this (and more obvious) if you want that reaction to cease.

Actually, the "Black Man" will become extinct in the distant future as the races continue to intermingle and homogenize - perhaps we should preserve you - "Mudede Man" - as an archeological specimen!

This might make some sense if framed in the Nell Painter, "History of White People" sense, although that frame would probably still require some group to be nonwhite.

Rather, I think the one-drop-rule would actually make everyone "black".
