Donald Trump Has Many Theories About Why the Republican Party Lost

Posted by on Mon, Nov 26, 2012 at 11:57 AM

Some introspection from the heart and soul of the Republican Party—also known as Donald Trumpin an interview with Newsmax:

“Republicans didn’t have anything going for them with respect to Latinos and with respect to Asians,” the billionaire developer says.

“The Democrats didn’t have a policy for dealing with illegal immigrants, but what they did have going for them is they weren’t mean-spirited about it,” Trump says. “They didn’t know what the policy was, but what they were is they were kind.”

Romney’s solution of “self deportation” for illegal aliens made no sense and suggested that Republicans do not care about Hispanics in general, Trump says.

“He had a crazy policy of self deportation which was maniacal,” Trump says. “It sounded as bad as it was, and he lost all of the Latino vote,” Trump notes. “He lost the Asian vote. He lost everybody who is inspired to come into this country.”

Because Mitt Romney lost the election, he is now "maniacal." Funny how Trump didn't make a peep about immigration during his endorsement of Romney. Meanwhile, the other frumpy egomaniac who routinely makes the Republican Party look awful, Grover Norquist, is in danger of losing his death grip on Congressional Republicans:

Norquist admits that a few politicians who signed his pledge are now having “impure thoughts,” worried that Republicans will be blamed for running the country over that “fiscal cliff.” However, he adds, “the media keeps interviewing the same five or so Republicans in Congress who want to cut a deal.”

He’s urging his troops to hold tight: “Even more than getting more revenues, (Democrats) want Republican fingerprints on tax increases so they can smash Republicans in the next series of elections.”

Good luck with your political future, Grover.

Let us not give Trump more credit than is due- Trump doesn't have theories, he has unfounded masturbatory speculation. To call them "theories" implies evidence.

NO!!! "The Donald" you are wrong...the GOP did a perfect job towards the Latino vote and they should never do anything different again. Actually, they should be even MORE extreme with getting rid of those illegals!!!

THAT'S the path to electorial victory!!! LOL!!!

And how did Grover Norquist become emperor? I must've missed that part.

If only the American people could afford to hire some lobbyists to represent them in dealings with KKKongriss, to paraphrase The Onion.

Although he was using the word "respect" differently in the first quoted sentence, respect (or lack thereof) for Asians, Latinos, women, and nearly anyone else you could mention is exactly why the Republicans lost in this election.
