Film Short Film Fridays on Thursday: Drew Christie Recommends Eels for Thanksgiving

Because this week's Short Film Fridays is about Thanksgiving, I'm posting it a day early. The film, “A Thanksgiving Eel,” is a new NYT Op-Doc by the local animator and filmmaker Drew Christie. (His other Op-Docs are “Hi! I’m a Nutria” and “Allergy to Originality.”) Why make eel a part of your Thanksgiving dinner? Because “[h]istorians agree that eel was likely present at the first Thanksgiving dinner...” That, as you can see, is as sound as reasoning gets.
