KING 5 Cancels Up Front

Posted by on Wed, Nov 21, 2012 at 2:22 PM

Twitter keeps telling me that KING 5 has cancelled Up Front with Robert Mak. That's right, after raking in kajillions of dollars in political advertising over the past couple months, KING 5 has canceled Seattle's last gasp of regular commercial public affairs programming.

So much for the public interest standard. Ah well, I guess that just means more influence for provocative partisan bloggers like me.

That sucks. Robert Mak does an excellent job covering state and local politics. And like you said, it was the only show of its kind around here. Does he still have a job covering politics for KING-5?

@3, well that is better than the Fox affiliate...not by much but a little bit.

Goldy is about as provocative as a diaper. Which makes sense as he is an adult baby.
