So, did Republicans learn their lesson from last Tuesday's drubbing with Latinos, Blacks, Asians, Jews, women, young people, and just about every voter who wasn't an older white man? Not apparently from listening to Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers, the only influential member of Washington's Republican congressional delegation:

“I don't think it's about the Republican Party needing to become more moderate. I really believe it's the Republican Party becoming more modern,” said McMorris Rodgers, during an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

I'm not exactly sure what that means, other than that the Republican leadership is still in denial.
