Hey, good speech.

But why do I feel like I've heard it before?

Yay for Obama.

I believe all the pro-marriage equality referendums won (ME, MD, WA, MN). YAY for marriage eqality.

Thank goodness this ended the right way.

Goodbye Romneybot and Marie Anne-toinette. Hope to never see y'all again.

Goodbye Alan West, Akin, and Mourdoch. Too bad Bachmann couldn't have joined you.

In Minnesota, the Star Tribune is calling the marriage amendment dead. However, it's still against state law for same-sex couples to marry. It's a step in the right direction for sure, though.

@5, well, at least it's not a step in the wrong direction. Still worth celebrating.

@2, So spaketh the douchbag. Quoting from ancient text that was meaningless millenia ago and is still moreso today. For when the douchebag knows nothing of current events or verily of reality itself then we may be sure that said douchebag will quote thine ancient text as though it meaneth something. However all shall verily see that the words in the ancient text are as void of reason as the mind of said douchbag.

So sayeth the lord, so sayeth we all.

Shorter @8: You didn't vote for Republicans, so I'm going to wreck the economy and blame it on the Democrats.

The thing is, last time the Republicans were in charge they wrecked it way, way worse. They seem to have a history of doing that.

@8, 11,

Financial Apocalypse? Fiscal cliff?

If it happens, the most notable effects will be:

1. Bush's idiotic tax rates expire and go back to responsible levels.

2. Our bloated defense budget gets massive cuts.

Both of those are way past due.

Republicans ran up the national credit card when they were in power. The bill has arrived. YOU wanted it, YOU bought it, YOU own it. Now pay for it.

If it's shit you smell, look down, you're standing in your own bs.

Sorry you're having a temper tantrum from losing. Again.

You demanded tax cuts. You demanded war. But how to pay for it? "Don't worry," says Cheney, "Defecits don't matter!"

And then when you broke the whole thing, you demanded the democrats clean up your mess AND take the blame for it too.

But I guess that message didn't fly so well come election time, did it?

You guys claim Obama is the worst president of all time. Yet your boy Romney, who promised you everything you wanted, got his ass handed to him.

Sucks to be you.

In case you forget what it feels like to be a loser, come back in four years and we'll serve it up to you again. Bring whoever you like, apparently the best you have can't beat the worst we have.

Obama will be impeached for the Libyan thing right after G.W. Bush and company are put on trial for human rights violations and war crimes.

So in other words... never.
