I believe all the pro-marriage equality referendums won (ME, MD, WA, MN). YAY for marriage eqality.
Thank goodness this ended the right way.

In Minnesota, the Star Tribune is calling the marriage amendment dead. However, it's still against state law for same-sex couples to marry. It's a step in the right direction for sure, though.

If it happens, the most notable effects will be:
1. Bush's idiotic tax rates expire and go back to responsible levels.
2. Our bloated defense budget gets massive cuts.
Both of those are way past due.
Republicans ran up the national credit card when they were in power. The bill has arrived. YOU wanted it, YOU bought it, YOU own it. Now pay for it.
