Leave George W. Bush Alone!

Posted by on Wed, Oct 31, 2012 at 4:25 PM

Here's video of Jeb Bush, complaining about the way that awful President Obama has been brutalizing George W. Bush. The money shot: "His entire strategy is to blame others – starting with my brother, of course."

You know, Jeb's right. That's why I'm glad the Republicans embarked on a full-throated defense of George W. Bush during their convention in August. They really took a stand and defended Bush as the craftsman of a great number of forward-thinking, all-inclusive policies. The fact that George W. Bush was given such a prominent speaking slot during the convention—in prime-time, no less!—proved that Republicans stand behind Bush and everything he stood for. Obama should be ashamed of his hurtful attacks.

George who? I thought he was just a myth, a fairy tale told to frighten little children. I mean, it's not like anybody in the GOP has actually mentioned his name these past four years.

Bush will go down as among the very worst ever. There were worse but not by much.

Shame on us for electing him, at least once.

Hey, Jeb!
Where, specifically, do you think those TWO WARS came from?

Was Jeb always this unattractive? Obviously I'm wildly shallow, but I thought I remembered him looking less Christy-ish.

Is he effectively a portrait of W. ?

Well Obama should be ashamed but moreso because he's strengthened Bush's policy regime.

Jeb blames Obama for blaming others too much.

::facepalm::

@5,

I've always thought he looked porcine due to a combination of a tiny nose and a chubby face, but it does seem like his face is getting chubbier as time progresses.

ok. correction noted.

At a glance, the thumbnail preview looked to me like David Schmader. I'm really sorry I thought that for even a moment, David.

Wonder how much coverage W's upcoming keynote speech at the tax evasion conference in the Caymans this weekend will garner...

Yeah, George W was such an evil man just like Romney. Faithfully married to the same woman for 30 years, attend church regularly, raise two beautiful young women, comforted and defended this country after the worst attack in it's history. Why would anyone want such a lowlife to lead this country?

@12 because they're both self centered power hungry lying pricks. that's why not

@12: You mean "responsible for the worst attack in this country's history", right?

@12 - Because the physical beauty of a man's daughters has anything to do with his leadership abilities. I know I sure felt comforted after he ignored intel about the WTC attacks knowing that his daughters were hot.

George W. left a trail of debt and destruction everywhere he touched. Like a reverse Midas.

G.W.Bush was the flower that the terrorists, both ours and Al Quedas and the house of Sauds, sewed. It was a very real Amorphallus titanum for all of us. The stink is still haunting, confusing and confounding us.

So stridently deceitful and demonstrably false that I wouldn't know where to begin. But then, the GOP isn't amenable to facts of any sort, so why be surprised?

@12 Must be a troll. A man can still be married, have hot, drunk daughters, and be a murderous war criminal. Oh, and what about "defending the country" before the worst attack on US soil with multiple warnings of serious threat? You people are failures.

@22 Oh, and totally forgot, Bush is not "undefeated" even after 9/11. What about those creepy* anthrax attacks? Bush sure didn't "defend" adequately against those.

*As in intimidation of people who were in front of the Patriot Act.

@12
Well, if marital faithfulness and two beautiful daughters are your main criteria for "president" you will no doubt be pleased to learn that Barack Obama has just those qualities, and I'm sure you will be voting to re-elect him.

Of course it hardly bears mentioning that what we're seeing here is the beginning of the Jeb Bush 2016 presidential run.

@25 Yes. Jeb is so out of shape he needs to start running now lest Christie lap him.

Jeb Bush??? Now there's a Real Daddy!!!!!

His daughter has her very own, all expenses paid, private suite at drug rehab.

His son has been arrested numerous times for being a stalker, and not only stalking previous ex-girlfriends, but destroying at least one's parents' property!!!

Yup, that old boy, Jeb --- he sure knows how to spawn.......(blame it on those Bush family genes: first president of the most ruthlessly anti-worker, anti-union outfit in America, the National Association of Manufacturers, Jeb and Georgey's great-grandfather. Granddaddy Prescott was with group who tried to convince Gen. Smedley Butler to aid them in overthrowing the democratically-elected President Roosevelt, and covered for son Geo. H.W. Bush, when during WWII, Bushie abandoned his crewmates and parachuted to safety --- later being proclaimed as not the cowardly AC he was, but a "hero."
