The use of newts in prophecy was strictly outlawed at the last meeting of the Confederated Witches Union, when RWC* #6669 was unanimously adopted by specific broom count.

In addition to newly-arisen concerns over animal welfare, it was recognized that newts just aren't very accurate, overall. The old standbys, scrying and tea-leaf reading, are offered as alternatives.

The great thing about being "on the record" on Fox News is that they're perfectly happy to ignore the record when it's convenient to do so.

Nikolai Yezhov was once on the record too.

Oh Newt... My father once told me never trust a man whose name equates his penis size. Or was it my mother who told me that?
