Berlusconi Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison

Posted by on Fri, Oct 26, 2012 at 7:53 AM

Al Jazeera:

Silvio Berlusconi, the former Italian prime minister, has been sentenced by a court in Milan to four years in prison for tax fraud.

Friday's verdict came just days after he announced he would not run in the coming elections.

What Berlusconi needs right now is an emergency escape exit like the one in his cave.

Italian courts are run by lunatics. They actually convicted scientists for not predicting an earthquake. Lunatics.

I'm constantly amazed that Italy is the world's 7th largest economy.

I love that cave pool SO MUCH.

Pretty much everything else about the First-World economic/political environment of the last thirty years is wrong, but at least it gave us this.

Right now the Chinese Supreme Leader's family is worth billions of US dollars.

I wonder if his family will be sentenced when Mitt goes to jail for tax fraud?

I would say that this is America's future if Romney wins the election, but I have a hard time seeing how a prosecution for tax fraud would ever get off the ground here.
