2012 Dinesh D'Souza Has Resigned

Conservative activist Dinesh D'Souza resigned Thursday as president of The King's College, a small evangelical school based in Manhattan.

The move came following recent reports that the 51-year old D'Souza was engaged to a 29-year old woman, while still in the course of a divorce from his wife of 20 years, and that the two had shared a hotel room at a recent Christian conference.

I didn't write about D'Souza's affair when I reviewed his documentary the other day, because this story wasn't pertinent to the movie. But this news is very pertinent to D'Souza's standing as a conservative "thinker," and I expect to see him alienated by the right for a year or two now. Of course, he'll return (probably just in time for the next presidential election) with "God's forgiveness," ready to preach about the importance of family values. We've seen this play out a thousand times before.

This is just proof that D'Souza is a secret Hindu. Well, proof beyond the color of his skin and funny sounding name, which is all the proof he requires.

Oh please. This just confirms his bona fides as a conservative thinker. These guys are impossible to shame - he's not going anywhere.

D'Souza is one of the masters of the Gish Gallop. He'll fit right in.

For bomb throwers like D'Souza, Coulter, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, etc, Conservatism is nothing but a pose that makes serious bank. They're just as freaky as normal people in their private lives.

He didn't know. He didn't know. OK? Give the man a break. If Christianity has a problem with adultery maybe Christianity should fucking say so so people will be aware of it. Publish some pamphlets or a book or something. Even put it in comic book form if it means that much to them that married Christians don't shack up.

Dinesh D'Souza is right to resign and tell Christianity to get fucked. It's a bullshit belief system that leaves guys like Dinesh high and dry with no clue what to do.

@6 the real question is: what on earth could convince a sentient human woman to sleep with Dinesh D'Souza. Mentally and physically both, he is a strong candidate for the title of Ugliest Man Alive.
