The Stranger Is Hosting a VP Debate-Watching Party at Havana Tomorrow at 6:00 p.m.

Okay, so the last debate was... actually, let's not talk about the last debate.

Tomorrow night the vice-presidential debate gives us a chance clean that slate—in mixed company—while comparing one man's plan for gutting Medicare to another man's fake teeth. We're gonna host a party at Havana (1010 East Pike St). Come have a drink. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the show begins at 6:00 p.m. We're also gonna live-blog it here on Slog.

Likewise, we're gonna live-blog the following two debates and host a couple more parties at Havana: a town-hall format presidential debate on Tuesday, October 16, at 6:00 p.m., and a presidential debate on foreign policy on Monday, October 22 at 6:00 p.m.

Just to repeat the comment I made after the last debate (plus questionable imagery): give some thought to the whole business of dropping tweets into the liveslog. I don't do Twitter normally, so there is potential added value in seeing cum hot-outtha-cock of total brain-babes, but: a tipping point exists akin to that somewhere between a mellow foursome with your best buds on a remote tropical beach, and a full-on masturbate-a-thon in a Pine Sol-scented dungeon.

Curate. Maybe decide in advance who's best to follow and include copiously, with exceptions for the rare mega-load.
