I Read Somewhere That Mitt Romney Illegally Neglected to Claim More Than $17.8 Million in Income from International Holdings

Posted by on Wed, Oct 10, 2012 at 2:14 PM

The Mitt Romney Tax Rumor Generator provides hours of financially minded fun. Best of all, none of it can be disproven, because Mitt Romney is never, ever, ever going to release his tax returns. Is any of it true? Is all of it true? Who knows? Maybe!

Hey, let's ask GE's Jack Welch.

His official tax rate is 2.8%, which is one-tenth what yours is ...

Wait, I thought he had released them? Or what were those things people pored over a few weeks ago?

I heard he fucked a goat. And he claimed the goat as a business expense.

Wake up! Isn't this pre-debate talking points? It's not working!

A Presidential candidate who hides his money in overseas tax shelters to avoid US taxes is no longer a story because there was one debate? In Greece, there's outrage about wealthy people avoiding taxes by parking money offshore, and France gave Greece a list of people so they could prosecute.

I know this happened yesterday, and that would make it no longer relevant in trollsville, but Romney reversed his position on abortion again. He's proudly pro-life in Ohio today, although he didn't support legislation yesterday in Iowa, and was of course pro-choice when he ran in liberal Massachusetts.

Did you read that 49% of the US doesn't believe in evolution or that 47% believes that slavery was actually a great deal for The Blacks?
