News Kudos to Nicholas D. Kristof

I've spoken a lot about my efforts as Attorney General to combat underage sex trafficking, and I'm proud to have led that fight in Washington State. (A fight that now seems to be producing some results, though we're still not where we need to be on this heart-rending issue.)

But while I have this forum, I'd like to take an opportunity to commend Nicholas D. Kristof of the New York Times for his unrelenting work on this problem. This is the kind of journalism we need. Thank you, Mr. Kristof.

What an epic dork. You'd think that before the almighty McKenna came along, no one was helping women from sex trafficking or domestic violence. And before the magical fairy McKenna came along, no one cared about schools. Good for you for being twice as good as other Republicans. But you know, this just makes you half as good as a Democrat. If you can do the math, you'll know that makes you only half the man Jay Inslee and other Democrats. Am I the only one that feels like the Republican party is getting more retarded every day? Pretty soon, they'll be clapping for McKenna for not putting a burka on his daughters and shipping them off to an arrangement. No more affirmative action for Republicans from now on. They don't get to go whine to the newspapers and beg about how "our state needs at least a few Republicans to balance the state out." No, what we need is smart people who'll do the right thing and not try to hide it or double talk to confuse their crazy rightwing supporters. If that means we gotta vote out every Republican, so be it.
