Playboy's Girls of the (1996) Internet

Posted by on Mon, Oct 1, 2012 at 4:16 PM

Waitaminute!! Three things:

1) I had no idea the internet web could be so eroti-sexual!
2) Email = erotic interface!
3) Girls used the internet in a much more hotter fashion back in 1996.
4) Nipples were blurrier back in 1996.
5) Kind of safe for work... but still pretty hard to explain.

One nice thing about mid-90s internet babes.

No tats.

This is just terrible. There is absolutely nothing erotic about this, or at least effectively erotic. It's more ridiculous than sexy. I'm surprised Playboy is even still in business today. Porn magazines are so outdated now.

It was really similar for gays, but the imagery had us on the outside of the Intertubez.

Of course back then they didn't shave it...so, yes, some things have gotten better for bros.

Man, I want to see a movie about the people that write the music for porns. I mean, there can't be much money in it, right? I'm thinking they write shit in real time, and then just go "fuck it, it's done." Hence the amazingly awful "Justify Your Love" ripoff with the "cyber spunk" lyric.

Nice to see that "Hey neighbor, are you wired?" is still as relevant now as it was then, albeit with a subtle change in definition.
