Tonight at 7 pm, Michael Chabon will be at Fred Wildlife Refuge. He'll be reading from his new novel, Telegraph Avenue, and I'll be asking him some questions. You can ask him questions, too! There will be a special introduction by Christopher Frizzelle and jazz by the Jose Gonzales Trio at either end of the show. University Book Store will be selling copies of Chabon's books, and he'll autograph anything you've got.

There will be booze. There will be very much booze. Profits from the bar are helping to fund Shunpike's work in the Seattle arts community—including the Genius Awards. (If you find after tonight that you really like drinking to help Shunpike, you should also consider attending their fundraiser, Golden, next week.) One point of order: If you're coming to the event, please print your tickets out. It will make everything much easier for all of us.

Tonight's event is sold out. There is a special, while-supplies-last code for twenty more free tickets available on The Stranger's Facebook wall right now. Go get them. We'll see you tonight.
