NOM Kicks In $250,000 to Reject R-74

Posted by on Tue, Sep 25, 2012 at 11:56 AM

Everett Herald:

The National Organization for Marriage has written its first sizable check to the campaign to repeal Washington's gay marriage law.

NOM contributed $250,000 to Preserve Marriage Washington on Sept. 20, according to information posted on the state Public Disclosure Commission web site. That is the single largest contribution to Preserve Marriage Washington, the coalition working to defeat Referendum 74 in November.

Game time, team!

It always pains me to wonder what good things that money could have gone to.

How many homeless families could have been helped with that money? NOM are horrible people.

My pro-gay church just raised over $4000 this past Sunday for Washington United for Marriage. Take that as a challenge!

For those happy this isn't a fulll million, realize this could just be the first installment. It's not the time to get overconfident.
