Deeply personal.

I think it's adorable. It's awesome that she and Joe can both laugh about it, and they're not both freezing up in horror at something that went off-message.

Getting your mind somewhere makes everything funny.

So much more charming than Ann Romney

My prediction is that 47% of Americans will find Jill's comments to be charming and delightful. Another 47% will find them to be the dangerous ramblings of a feminazi nymphomaniac, hoping to sexualize our children and turn them into gay pedophile communist muslims. The last 6% will be paying more attention to "Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo".

That was hysterical. Nice to see that Aunt Jill is just as prone to the verbal gaffes as Uncle Joe.

I thought she was adorable. The oopsie made both her and her husband to be ... wait for it ... approachable and human. What a contrast with Mr. & Mrs. Ro---bot.

When I thought that I could not have more love for Mr. and Dr. Biden, this happens! Adorbs.

I love this woman. She is like a female Joe Biden. We need to see more of her.

The complete opposite of Ann Romney. How would she handle an unintentional double entendre?

Yeah, that was funny.

Cute - but I didn't hear any "penis joke". WTF ???

"I've seen Joe up close.." That's a penis joke?

Nice to see smiles and jokes from a candidate and family. So different from the dour and desperate bleatings of Rethugs.

@13/14 -- it was the hand gesture along with the wording. She gestured with her hands as though she were measuring his schlong "up close." (Like a fisherman demonstrating the size of his catch, so to speak.)

It was little disturbing though when Biden praised her so much like she was the only thing in his life that ever mattered...since his first wife and mother of his children died in a horrific car crash just after he was elected Senator.

These people are... totally normal; like real people we know and love. It should remind us just what horrors, what "cunts" (in the UK pejorative sense), what scheming anti-American plutocrat-toadies the Romney-Ryan-Neocon-TEAbagger-Republicans are.

Day. And. Night.

@20: I suspect that when you've had such a terrible loss, it makes you more likely to fully appreciate the people you do have.
