The Big Trees of Seattle

This one of the three or so big trees in Freeway Park...

Freeway Park is more than a location, a place, a point in space; it's the philosophy of this city. A walk through this park is like reading Plato on the nature of the human soul, or love, or reason—but what we are reading is the nature of Seattle. It's reported that a body was found in the park's fountain yesterday.
