New Poll Shows Teabagger Koster with Narrow Lead over Democrat DelBene in WA-01

Posted by on Tue, Sep 18, 2012 at 1:37 PM

A new KING5/SurveyUSA poll shows Teabagger John Koster leading Democrat Suzan DelBene by a narrow 46-42 margin in Washington's redrawn 1st Congressional District. Voters favored Koster on nearly every issue, including who would best represent the high-tech industry. DelBene is notably a former Microsoft executive.

Of course, DelBene trailed Darcy Burner in the polls throughout much of the primary campaign before riding to a comfortable victory on the back of a massive financial edge, so there's nothing gloom and doom about these numbers. That said, there's nothing in these numbers to suggest that DelBene is bringing any natural political advantage to this contest apart from her inestimable checkbook.

Wait until you're quoted in campaign-ending "DelBene might be a felon" ads :)

What a bullshit posting. DelBene beat Burner, three time loser, fair and square. Don't like money in politics? Then you don't like politics. Get over it.

When are we just going to admit that the East side is solid republican. Enjoy your T-bagger, Bellevue.

What DelBene brings in cash she makes up for in lack of personality.

In a district like the 1st lack of "personality", at least as represented by Burner, is a positive attribute?

I'll buy that. Viva la milquetoast to victory!

If only Burner would've won the primary. Then the polling would be 56-38 Koster, which would be much better.

Here's hoping he wins, if only to teach DelBene and the local party Apparatchik a lesson. Burner should be headed for office now.

"nothing in these numbers to suggest" . . . ?

Aren't these numbers a far sight better than any of the Koster/Burner numbers?

Do you want the seat? Or will you be content to cultivate your fine dry sour-grapes vintage whine?
