Chicago Teachers Vote to End Strike

Posted by on Tue, Sep 18, 2012 at 3:29 PM

Chicago teachers have voted to end their strike and go back to work in the nation's 3rd largest school district. That's great news for Chicago's 350,000 students, and bad news for Mitt Romney, who loses a potential issue with which to lash out at Democrats.

Actually you don't know it's great news for students until you've seen the terms of the settlement. Remember that teachers' working conditions are students' learning conditions.

Yeah if it wasn't for the early end to the strike he totally would have won Illinois!

@Goldy, think about the Chicago teachers strike, then think about the NFL ref strike.

There is something there, I'm not sure what. But I sense something and it is curious.
