Short Film Fridays: The 9/11 Edition

Posted by on Tue, Sep 11, 2012 at 1:45 PM

This short, The Roper, could not wait for Friday. I had to post it today, patriotism day, the day we are supposed to feel deeply about American greatness and resilience. The director of the short is Ewan McNicol. One of its best parts is the hiphop cowboys. This is the real America...

Check out other shorts in Lucid's short documentary series Meet Me Here. Speaking of short films, remember tomorrow night is Flickering Genius, a screening of films by the nominees of the Genius Award for Film (Drew Christie, Shaun Scott, and Megan Griffiths). The show will be presented by the always very funny and entertaining David Schmader and give you the chance to mingle with some very cool local talent.
