2012 There's an Anti-Paul Ryan Protest Tonight in Bellevue

Lyin' Paul Ryan is the biggest, hottest, most popular name on the Republican ticket this year, and he's flying in to Seattle at 3:30 this afternoon to attend a schwanky Bellevue fundraiser tonight. Nobody's sure yet where the fundraiser will be, but plans for a protest are already coming together, as organized by Washington Can, Fuse Washington, Planned Parenthood Votes, Working Washington, and more. Here are the details:

When: Monday, September 10, 2012 at 6pm
Where: Corner of Bellevue Way and NE 4th St, Bellevue, WA.

The protest will start there, and then it will move in the direction of wherever the Ryan fundraiser is happening. I attended an anti-Romney protest at a Bellevue fundraiser in March, and it was a lot of fun. If you care about women's rights, the social safety net, separation of Ayn Rand and state, accurate marathon times, and truth in mountaineering, you might want to think about showing up. I'll be there and I'll report what I find tonight on Twitter and right here on Slog.

Maybe this will produce more attendees than the anti-potholder protest I went to in Clyde Hill the other night.

Planned Parenthood Votes should change their name, I dont think they are affiliated with Planned Parenthood and gives the illusion that they are. They work hard to appear non-partisan, even when Republicans openly lie about what they do.

I'm guessing that was his motorcade I just saw coming up I-5 and turning onto 90 east.

@1 - I'm with you. They're a joke compared to oven mitts. Why do they even exist?

@4 - The protest probably won't, but 1) if it gets press coverage and 2) the coverage actually explains why they are protesting Ryan, that might change a few.
