Gold Star Comment of the Morning

Posted by on Mon, Sep 10, 2012 at 12:21 PM

In response to the (unsurprising) news that Barack Obama has endorsed Jay Inslee, Slog commenter sasha writes:

It's a very good point. A few months back, Democrats were running from Obama in all the obvious places—and even in places like Washington State, it wasn't clear he was the guy you'd want behind you in a close race for governor. Now, post-convention (and mid-convention-bounce), it's clear: He's the guy you want behind you in this state's close race for governor.

The other big point: they must think there are a lot of people planning on voting for Obama that aren't planning on voting for Inslee.

That is my biggest pet peeve with Dems. They should always strongly support the president and instead they have a finger in the wind.

Compared to the republicans hoping we were all born 3 1/2 years ago? Yes, it's fantastic.

Even Scott Brown is giving POTUS a handy in a new Mass. ad, talkin bout, 'good job' and shit. What a difference a week makes. Worlds to be created and destroyed between now and early November though.
