The BBC sat down with the late, great Count von Count in December 2009... "The Count loved all numbers, but 34,969 in particular. Why?"

I'd imagine a muppet makes for a better interviewee than an empty chair.

@3, 4 - The article explores those things. Frankly, I'm fond of the theory that the Count killed someone and likes to boast about it in coded terms.
