Bill Clinton Stars in New Pro-Obama Ad: What Do You Think?

Posted by on Thu, Aug 23, 2012 at 11:38 AM

Here's the ad:

You definitely don't want to overuse Bill Clinton; a little bit of Clinton goes a long way. And if he goes off message, he can fuck you up for three or four days before you get back on message. But he does remind Americans of better times, even if Republicans loathe him.

Look at it this way: Clinton can't sign DOMA again or sign away Glass-Stegal a second time around

I just wish he would have mentioned G.W. Bush a couple times. Republicans want Americans to forget him while going back to his way of running this country into the ground.

Ditto@1. Clinton talking about the evils of deregulation is just a tad hypocritical. Our current fiscal crisis would not have occurred if not for the Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999, which Clinton should've vetoed.

Take cold comfort in the fact that we can and do honestly blame Clinton (and other Dems) for their political mistakes and missteps.

You will never see, hear, or read of Republicans doing so. St. Ronnie never did any wrong, voodoo economics will never be repudiated by them.

The closest they will ever come is just not talking at all, as with Dubya. They will never admit to a mistake.

Don't forget NAFTA, welfare reform, and the clusterfuck that was Don't ask, don't tell.

This ad would be effective if people considering voting for Romney had a rational bone in their body.

Pepsi -- America's choice!

"The most challenging part of this challenge... is getting to the booth!"

Obviously Pepsi is better for you than Coke.
