This week's film is "Twilight of the Good Times,” a short/footage remix directed by me, researched by Roxanne Emadi, edited by Jonathan Baab, and scored by DJ Shingi. The film was made for Manifesta, a “European pan-regional contemporary cultural biennale” that happened in Spain in 2010.

Two reasons for posting the short at this particular time: one, it was inspired by Shaun Scott’s 2009 Seat of Empire (Scott is one of the nominees for this year’s Genius Award in film); and, two, the current redevelopment of, to use Cienna Madrid's words, “Seattle's oldest and most central public housing project, Yesler Terrace.”
