Taking Campaign Advice from the Seattle Times Is Like Taking Sex Advice from the US College of Catholic Bishops

Because if there's any criticism one can make of Suzan DelBene, it's that she's too partisan:

Koster and DelBene must rethink their messages. Campaigning on partisan autopilot will not work in the redrawn 1st District.

This is the editorial board, of course, that recently endorsed the losing candidate for governor, attorney general, and secretary of state, not to mention No on the library levy and the fifth place finisher in the 1st District primary. So yeah, both Koster and DelBene should really listen closely to what the Seattle Times says the district's voters want. And then do the opposite.

Knew the Times' record was bad, but not this bad. Hobbs and Kastama are two of the worst candidates we've seen in a while, but the corporate toadies at the Times editorial board loved them.

the conservative MO is to decry partisanship whenever and wherever it starts working for a Democratic candidate.

The Seattle Times is to politics as Orly Taitz is to the practice of law, on a relative scale of accuracy and coherency.

They live in an echo chamber with all the same people and their thoughts bouncing off each other. Tired excuses, reasoning and lazy decision-making mark their recommendations.

Keep this in mind for the general election and their recommendations.

It's time for them to have to remove "Seattle" from their paper's name.

To everyone decrying the Stranger's support of Darcy Burner, in their actual endorsements they chickened out and went with Laura Ruderman. (*Cough!* pussies)
