2012 / Sex Jenna Jameson Endorses Romney

Porn legend Jenna Jameson may have just made the unlikeliest - and least helpful - endorsement of the 2012 campaign season.
The adult-entertainment pioneer exposed her political preference for Mitt Romney Thursday night while sipping champagne in the VIP room of a San Francisco gentlemen's club.
"I'm very looking forward to a Republican being back in office," Jameson told a KCBS-TV reporter, champagne in hand. "When you're rich, you want a Republican in office."
I like to imagine Romney being told of this endorsement. I picture him bursting into tears and running to the hotel bathroom, where sounds of ice buckets, running taps, high-pitched wailing, and the slapping of naked flesh emanate from behind the locked door for a solid three hours before Romney emerges, not a hair out of place, and nobody ever speaks of that incident ever again.

I'll show concern when some one really huge, Alexis Texas, Meggan Malone, Alexis Silver, Misti Love, etc., endorses that debt queen, that professional crook who shouldn't be let out alone, that tax dodging draft dodger, Willard M. Romney!

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. While it may seem strange to be asking about sex workers' moral compasses because they work in a field that is always ripe for raunchy jokes, it still says a lot about someone when she is looking out only for herself.
I guess porn workers are of all sorts of political persuasions, but I wonder if they tend to be more supportive of things like marriage equality than the rest of society.

Jenna is the closest thing porn's had to a superstar. She's the Angelina Jolie of shitty fuck flicks - although that's probably a bad analogy, because Jolie appears to actually have a personality and a conscience, as divorced from reality as it may be, Hollywood being Hollywood.
Anyway, what I'm getting at is that people with fame and money live on a different fucking planet, and I can only imagine that the sleaze and cynicism of the porn industry, especially the porn industry from the Clinton '90s, just queers the deal even further. She's acting in her own self-interest, in narrow-minded, rich-person, typically Randian terms. It's not actually particularly farfetched. The fact that she seems to think her endorsement matters, or is wanted, is really just the icing on the pathetic, disgusting cake.
And you know what? I freely admit I'm mostly talking out my ass here. This is all just speculation based on my intuitive impressions. If this turns out to be satire or subversive anti-endorsement, that will be totally cool, and I will be the first to admit that I was a cynical butthole. I don't really think that's what's going on, but I could be wrong.

I am okay with people voting in their self interests. If more people did the Republican Party would be relegated to a history class. I will trade Jenna's vote for all those blue collar, one paycheck away from hunger, Rush Limbaugh loving losers who can't see the light of day and vote GOP. Hey deadbeat cousins I am talking to you!!!

I'm always amazed that people who made their fortunes from businesses back in the 80s or 90s but which are now (or they are now) obsolete or unmarketable are still the "rich people".

It doesn't matter if she was being serious or sarcastic. It's a two-fer hilarity... not only is she a porn star, but she also reminded everyone listening that Romney is the candidate for the rich.

I'll be surprised if this is not a calculated act of hilarious sabotage. But we'll see I guess. Probably be easy for one of you guys to figure out what she's up to with a little Googling. I recommend doing that at work since searches for Jenna Jameson could not possibly produce NSFW results.

I'm so clueless. I've never heard of her. I read the headline and thought, Is that the vaccines-cause-autism lady? The headline might as well have read "Some Chick Endorses Romney."
