Here's a pro-Romney ad airing in Florida. It contends that President Obama was focused on Obamacare rather than fixing the economy:

This ad resurrects the old Romney theme of disappointment in the president, contending that President Obama tried his best and found that his best wasn't good enough. (They recently launched a new attack on President Obama as an evil foreigner.) I don't know if this ad means that the Romney campaign is giving up on the foreign attacks or if they're taking a two-pronged approach, hitting the president as an evil foreigner who doesn't understand average Americans but is also a nice guy who tried hard and turned out to be a disappointment. But the eye-off-the-ball attack on Obama being focused on the wrong thing is direct and could do some damage. I think the Obama campaign needs to try harder to tie Obamacare to the economy, to let voters know that the economy can't improve so long as such a significant amount of our income goes toward health care. Meanwhile, here's what the Obama campaign is putting out:

This is another solid attack ad that ties Romney's questionable finances to the new report that suggests his plan would raise taxes on 95% of Americans. I especially like the shot of Romney in front of Donald Trump's plane, a nice subliminal tie between two out-of-touch wealthy men. But what do you think?
