According to West Seattle Blog, the week-long Waste Management strike may come to an end the evening before fines of up to $1.5 million could be issued to the waste collection agency.

The blog reports Waste Management has come to an agreement with Teamsters Local 117, and that the union will vote on it tomorrow. Waste Management's website, however, hasn't been updated with the press release West Seattle Blog cites.

The strike has caused Seattle to open transfer facilities to citizens for free garbage disposal, and today the Mayor started a hashtag campaign to hold Waste Management responsible for uncollected waste.

We will update this story as more information becomes available.
