Crazy-Ass LaRouche Folks Invade CD: Hitler Obama nuisance group heads to Central District in support of Lyndon LaRouche candidate Dave Christie. The crowd that gathered wasn't thrilled, says Central District News.

Neighbors Against Shitty Development: The Pike/Pine Urban Neighborhood Council is angry that a developer has no plans to preserve the Davis Hoffman building, a character structure of the neighborhood, but plans to use "incentives that will allow [a new building] to stand seven stories tall in exchange for conservation of the neighborhood's character," according to Capitol Hill Seattle blog. The group is urging folks to show up at a meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m.

SPD Can Eat More Than SFD: The police presented a check to the West Seattle Food Bank for $250 after winning a chicken-wing-eating contest against firefighters, reports West Seattle Blog. The name of the event? Guns and Hoses.

Pedestrian Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries: MyBallard reports that the SPD is looking for witnesses to a car-vs.-pedestrian collision Tuesday night. The man in his 20s was hit crossing Holman Road NW (near a pedestrian overpass) and taken to Harborview Medical Center in life-threatening condition.

Seriously, though, LaRouche people give the impression of being genuinely mentally ill. They're so offensive and so completely disconnected from reality that it's the only way to make sense of them.

Sorry. There is nothing remarkable about the Davis Hoffman building. Pull it down!

Is that the building the Occupy lady married?

It was not a hit-and-run. The post you link to says they interviewed the driver.

The cops eat more than the firemen...you can just look at the two departments and figure out who would have won that contest.

The LaRouchies marched in the Renton River Days parade on Saturday, supporting Dave Christie. They taped a folded up American flag over "mpeach Obam", presumably to avoid being booed or worse. It wasn't big enough to cover the I and the a.

Gus, I thought that was that old one-story warehouse thing near Broadway and Seattle U.

I'm all, all for increased density. Capitol Hill is not that historic! As long as they build affordable apartments, they can make it as tall as that high-rise on First Hill. Didn't they come up with a good compromise with that building next to the Egyptian?

And "Guns and Hoses"? That's too good!
