Progress for Washington, the super PAC funded by Laura Ruderman's mother, just reported another $21,328 expenditure for printing and postage in support of Ruderman in the crowded WA-01 primary, bringing the PAC's total to $298,454. I guess that sounds like a lot of money, but it's nothing compared to the $2.3 million of personal funds Suzan DelBene has now spent on her own campaign.

Is this a case of ultra-helicopter parenting, or does Ruderman's mother expect a (ahem) "return" on her investment?

How incredibly convenient for the Ruderman campaign, which so far has done no mailings of their own to voters. All of the other Democratic candidates have sent out at least two. The Ruderman campaign planned to send out zero?? Just putting all their eggs in one TV ad? Sure looks like coordination with mom.
