1. As Christopher wrote in his Suggest, Stranger Genius of Literature John Olson is reading tonight at Elliott Bay Book Company. That's obviously a reading that many of you will want to attend.

2. Although quite a few of you will want to know about this reading, too: Cheryl Strayed, who is best known as The Rumpus's popular advice columnist Dear Sugar, will be reading at University Book Store. Her newest book is Tiny, Beautiful Things: Advice on Life and Love from Dear Sugar, but her other new book, the memoir Wild, was chosen by Oprah as the first book in her new book club. I bet she'll be willing to talk about both those books.

3. And others will want to know about the Jack Straw Writers reading taking place at Sole Repair tonight, too. All sorts of local writers—Kathleen Alcala, Kathleen Flenniken, Claudia Rowe, David Schmader, and Shawn Wong—will share new and new-ish work. Since Jack Straw helps writers learn how to better communicate their work via spoken word, this is pretty much guaranteed to be a great time.

4. But that's not all that's going on. Visit the readings calendar for more information about readings happening tonight and for the next couple months.
