Animals Flying Puppy Block Party Pre-Funk

YOU GUYS. Before hitting the Block Party this afternoon, head on over to the Seattle Center. First of all, it's Bite of Seattle and there is deep-fried everything, but even more importantly THERE ARE FLYING DOGS.
The Puget Sound DockDogs are there, meaning there is a runway and a pool and dogs run as fast as they can down the runway and the leap into the pool to catch their toy and it is really, really wonderful. Sometimes the dogs aren't so brave, so they run to the ledge and then stop and adorably, hesitantly tumble into the water. EEEEEE!
It's happening between the McCaw Hall and the Intiman Theater. It's free to watch. Practice starts at 10 am and competitions go on throughout the day. Here's the schedule.
