Over a decade ago, before KEXP had their online playlists I once had to call Riz (during his show) to find out the name of a specific band/track. He was nice enough to work with me to figure out exactly what piece of music I was listening to. (When he plays a bunch of mainly instrumental stuff, sometimes two at the same time, things can get all blurry.) He had a attitude and a helpfulness that I wish more people here had. And finding out that band/track info had a huge impact on me.

Great video, and yes yes yes, they should've fucked!!!! The fact they didn't RUINED THE MOVIE and made it nothing more then a movie about two straight dudes playing gay chicken.

Riz, you're up there with Doc Maynard, Princes Angeline, JP Patches, Ivar Haglund, the Umbrella Man, Charlie Chong and some others in my book now. Feel like I've known that voice since welphood. Some of us can allow ourselves to truly love this Alki New York, this down in the Duwamps. To truly love it.
