Fuck the Space Needle. When I lived in Seattle back in the day it was considered a symbol of the city. It's irrelevant now. Just another interesting thing on the skyline. And the food sucks.

Nothing feels better than corporate support. Friends and family and politicians, sure whatever. It's when companies advertise their love for us that we know we really count.
Space Needle, Inc., you make me feel bad except when you partner with the Stranger to put on the Genius party. CenturyLink aka Qwest aka Paul Allen, you make me feel good. Target, you made me feel bad in Minnesota that time but you apologized and stopped that shit and now majorly sponsor Prides around the country including ours today so you make me feel good.

I imagine most folks are afraid if they touch Pride they'll get a $50,000 unpaid debt and a rash they can't treat.

I didn't realize it was incumbent on anyone to fly a particular flag for anyone. Oh, that's right. If the Stranger makes an arbitrary demand or contrives an issue and you don't follow in lockstep then you are just a 'house (insert appropriate ethnic/racial/gender/sexual preference slur here)'
