2012 Ron Paul Clears Things Up

Now his fans are going to have to go through the seven steps of grief all over again!

Texas Rep. Ron Paul (R) has conceded that he cannot win the presidential nomination, but he is not dropping out of the race, his campaign announced Tuesday morning.

So he can't win the nomination, but he's still in the race. It's the Newt Gingrich strategy, then, is it?

I think he's hoping for something like what happened at the end of the first Harry Potter movie, in that even if the math doesn't add up in his favor, they'll just give him the presidency out of respect for his pluck and determination.

When a campaign is 'suspended' they can still raise cash and people can vote for them but they aren't actively campaigning. Herman Cain did the same thing. I think they all do.

he could force a brokered convention. prob'ly won't though. him and romney became allies against santorum/gignrich on the campaign trail. look for a deal to put his kid in the VP spot on the ticket.

Never underestimate the power of Mitt "Frenchie" Romney's 2004-2010 tax returns being released.

How many people do you know who successfully hid taxable income from the IRS for years, were then discovered, and getting hundreds of millions of dollars in fines that then show up on the tax return? And then have the gall to run for President?
