The game started at 7:30 EST and didn't finish until almost 12:30 EST, in triple overtime, with a goal from Marian Gaborik at the 14:41 mark. That is almost 115 minutes of hockey. The puck bounced right off goalie Braden Holtby's stick and went between his legs for the game winning goal.

Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist made 45 saves, Holtby made 47. That is incredible. The Rangers now lead the series 2-1.

In other hockey news: Despite Nashville suspending two of their big players, Alexander Radulov and Andrei Kostitsyn, for breaking team rules, the Preds won last night's crucial game against the Coyotes in a 2-0 shutout. It was the first playoff shutout for goalie Pekka Rinne, who played an amazing game. And look at this passing between Sergei Kostitsyn and Mike Fisher. So, so pretty. It's still unknown if Rads and A. Kostitsyn will be back for game four. (I say fuck 'em and leave Tootoo and Halischuk on the ice.)

Tonight: The Flyers and Devils will break their 1-1 series tie and the Kings take on the Blues, and the Blue better win or else they'll be in an ugly 3-0 hole.
