1. Benjamin Busch is the son of novelist Frederick Busch. He also starred as Officer Anthony Colicchio on The Wire, and he served as a solider in Iraq. Any one of those things might not be enough material for a memoir, but all three of those things combined sounds like a decent premise for a book. Dust to Dust is the name of his book, and he's reading at University Book Store tonight and at Third Place Books tomorrow night. It's got a great cover, too.

2. Meanwhile, Elliott Bay Book Company is hosting David Wagoner tonight. Wagoner knows more about Northwest poetry than anyone on the face of the Earth. He was taught by Theodore Roethke, and he's basically in every way a living legend. His newest collection is titled After the Point of No Return. National Poetry Month is over, but you should go get schooled.

3. Need more options? Check out the readings calendar.

you think thats a great cover?? Its a horrible cover; the designer basically mailed it in and copied every other cover, poster ect. thats come out in the last year. A shameless Ed Ruscha rip-off that started snowballing after that facebook movie.
