I never saw the comparisons at the time, but in retrospect, he is so remarkably LBJ to Obama's JFK.

@3 I was thinking the same thing, only instead of Mike Farrell, I see Prince Philip (not only do they resemble each other, both are given to blurting out embarrassing spur-of-the-moment thoughts).

Not surprisingly, I agree with Dom @6 (enjoy Nice, I hear it's Nice) = Joe Biden is a stained pair of boxers.

I love Uncle Joe. He's got such a nice smile. I guess that makes me a sucker, but he seemed to be incrementally less scummy than most politicians when I saw him on the Daily Show back in 08.
