The Obama campaign is placing this ad in swing states like Colorado, Florida, Ohio and Virginia. It's the first one to directly go after Mitt Romney, which makes it notable:

Also notable: It pretty clearly highlights the Obama campaign strategy. It paints the president as an advocate for the little guy, while Mitt Romney sides with big business. It's a pretty effective ad, I think, in that it directly attacks Republican misinformation about America's oil production under President Obama, and then explains how the candidates differ.

Of course, now that the direct attacks have already begun, this means we're in for a very long summer.
