As much as the average American, you think? How much do you think that is, in teaspoons? Okay, no: higher. No—higher.

Answer after the jump.

According to this year-old UPI story*, grownups in the United States of America eat 22 teaspoons of sugar a day—more than double the recommended amount (which is, for men, 9.4 teaspoons—pardon me, but THAT amount is also fucked).

Not to be judgey, but: Christ on a bicycle, people, what the hell are you eating?!

*Which I just came across—I know, I lose the internet, but I doubt this number has gone down, plus: the horror!
