It's Crown Hall, a building that was completed in 1956. Mies was born 126 years ago.

It's beautiful, but it leaks. IIT cannot afford proper maintenance.

Good Morning Charles,
I'm a fan of Mies van der Rohe. I've seen Farnsworth House in Plano, IL and of course, the Illinois Institute of Technology campus in Chicago. I've also visited his grave in Graceland Cemetary in Chicago as well. He has some fascinating work.

Thanks for that Charles... I've spent many an all-nighter in that building. It has its maintenance issues, but they're nothing compared to your typical Frank Lloyd Wright disaster scene.

It's a beautiful building; all you anti-Mies philistines can suck it.
