My husband, the quadcopter enthusiast, says: "This isn't real. It can't be real." He sounds like a kid on Christmas morning when he says it, though. Like he's slowly opening up to the possibility of unexplainable magic and wonder that sits in front of him.
(Of course TacoCopter and LobsterCopter is a joke. But for how long?)

So, I'm really not kidding with the auto-copter stuff. One can imagine a whole suite of Carrier Robots that can do things like bring groceries from the supermarket on demand. Without the need for a human driver, a delivery vehicle could shrink down to the size of a few grocery bags.
And, yes, if somehow you could increase the lift and running time of a quadcopter, why not have a small helipad on your roof so that it could cargo drop goods there like a Chinook helicopter?
