Should Richard B. Sanders Run (Again) for the Washington State Supreme Court?

Posted by on Mon, Mar 12, 2012 at 11:58 AM

Still on the bench, suckas.
  • Coming back to the court, suckas.
On March 1, former Washington State Supreme Court Justice Richard B. Sanders—who was voted out of office in November 2010—finally finished the last case on his pro-tem list and ended his time on the bench.

Just over ten days later, this online survey popped up.

It asks: Should Richard Sanders run for election to the Washington State Supreme Court?

Current answer from the people this survey was intended for: Yes!

Is there an implied request for flying monkeys, or are they only for Dan Savage? In any case, I filled out the survey and answered No.

WTF? That "survey" is so biased I assumed it was straight from Faux news.

Nobody put "Lando Calrissian" as your name, 'cause I already used it.

I assume this was made by some hapless consultant hoping to get paid by Sanders.

I told them I'd ring doorbells. Would I be legally obligated to endorse him?

They are more than welcome to use my name! I'm certain I'm just the sort of person Sanders wants as a known associate.

@4 I used 'Richard Sanders' as my name.

You can do it multiple times, too! I'm going to be "Soggy McSantorum" next time.

As an attorney I HATED his rulings but his opinions were always the most fun to read. Can we vote to make him a clerk to one of the more sane (any of them) justices?

I was Sarah Palin, and offered my celebrity endorsement.

Ron Weasley is endorsing Sanders now. It's surprising because he's so nonpolitical.
