Andrew Breitbart's Final Message to His People on Earth

Posted by on Thu, Mar 1, 2012 at 11:14 AM

The passing of Andrew Breitbart means so much to so many. Breitbart himself taught me to respect the dead, and so I'm going to let the man speak for himself. Here is his final message to Occupiers outside CPAC. It stands as his final major public address, and I think that future generations will regard it as Breitbart's Sermon on the Mount:

For those with no access to video, here is a transcript:

Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! You are freaks and animals! You're freaks and animals! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Behave yourself! Learn to behave yourself! Stop raping people! Stop raping people! Stop raping people! Stop raping people! Stop raping the people! You freaks! You filthy freaks! You filthy filthy filthy raping murdering freaks!

This is Andrew Breitbart's legacy.

I thought his final message was explaining why he called someone a putz. Was that filmed after his Twitter session?

Such an utter lack of self-realization and irony from this little man, telling ANYONE to "behave" themselves as he lies, exaggerates and generally does everything in his power to bring the level of discourse in this country even lower.

But RIP anyway, because basic human dignity demands a respectful acknowledgement of his departure. Not that anyone else could expect the same from him while he was alive.

I prefer to remember how vicious and vile he was about Ted Kennedy, on the day of the Senator's death. Since Breitbart demonstrated that respect for the dead was not a custom he observed, I feel perfectly free to say he was an evil, lying sack of shit and the world is better off without him.

I think it's atherosclerosis where the blood to the brain is slowly closed down by blocked arteries. It slowly turns a person into a babbling idiot then kills them. It looks very much like what we see here.

I wish this was his legacy - an angry clown, giving a voice to some teabaggers. But unfortunately, the man did a lot of damage. He published James O'Keefe's half-truths and lies, and that destroyed ACORN, a group that advocated for affordable housing, health care and voter registration. That's his real legacy.

@7, I was wondering about that. Just as I have wondered about Michael Vicks -- what if it's BRAIN DAMAGE that makes people like this? If it's an illness, shouldn't we be sorry, and looking for treatment?

On the other hand, fuck him. David Frum:
When one of the leading media figures of the day achieves his success by his giddy disdain for truth and fairness—when one of our leading political figures offers to his admirers a politics inflamed by rage and devoid of ideas—how to withhold a profoundly negative judgment on his life and career? Especially when that career was so representative of his times?

That man had some serious rage issues. I wonder if exploding fat head is considered dying of "natural causes".

Shakespeare...you have been replaced as the measure of all English prose.

The hope and joy that quote of Andrew's leaves me I simply can't find words...just can't find words.

It is said that "any man's death diminishes me, for I am involved in mankind", yet I don't recall ever feeling less diminished than I do right now.

For some reason, I keep picturing this going on until his skull does a Mars Attacks number (when the Martians hear Slim Whitman).

(In other news, who knew Slim Whitman was still alive?)

I'm still willing to believe he was a punch-clock shill for the right, and a perfectly loving father and husband at home- but footage like that certainly doesn't help...

@21 Please send your choice of arrangements, ignorant signage, and hors d'oeuvres, along with a $200 non-refundable booking deposit to: godhatesfags@hotmail.com.
